Pay with mobile money, online in seconds

Selling Wi-Fi access is still a cash-and-paper job: take the money, type a password into the router, and hope the customer does not share it with the whole block. The moment anything is refunded, extended or renewed, the paper trail stops matching what the router is actually doing.

GlobalComm Wi-Fi turns a MikroTik hotspot into a self-serve paywall. A customer joins the Wi-Fi, sees the plans, pays with MTN or Airtel mobile money, and is online in seconds on a fresh, random credential that stops working at expiry and is never reused. The router enforces the time, the speed and the two-device limit; the software handles plans, payments, customer accounts and staff roles.

The hard part is making the money and the router agree. Every payment is reconciled against what the gateway reports, and every credential is provisioned on the router through a WireGuard tunnel — if the VPS is unreachable, a paid customer stays online and expires on the router's own timer rather than being locked out. It runs on a small VPS with SQLite, in the shape a real product build takes when it is done properly.
